[On this particularly blustery day, Pascal is lounging around in the library and making a general mess of the area around her. There are books laid out all over the table she's sat at, some piled up close by on the floor, everywhere. Even then she keeps getting up to find some other book to add to her collection. Most of the books she's reading through follow the theme of today's weather. Be it wind socks, wind surfing, anemometers, windmills, whatever, she's likely found a book on it. There's one particular book the she's so fully engrossed in that she doesn't even notice when a stack of books slips of the table.

Flying a kite sounds like a blast! There are so many different kinds of kites with different designs to them out there. To Pascal it seems like a great way to make the best out of the weather. Now she could just go and look for a kite in the item shop and see what comes up, but where's the fun in that? She's going to make her own. She makes a few trips to the item shop for some craft supplies, bring her haul back to the library so she can start her work (and make even more of a mess than before).]

[With her work soon finished, Pascal can be found testing out her kite in the plaza. She's running around all over the place, waving her arms like a madwoman in an attempt to get her kite to take off.]

C'mon, you can do it! Three, two, one, go go go!! [We have lift off! Pascal's excitement is short lived however as a particularly strong gust of wind sends the kite swerving downwards, causing it to crash into the ground not long after it took off. Wooden canes and construction paper everywhere.] Aw bananas, the wind completely totaled it... Oh well! [That was just a test flight anyway. Time to make another one!]

[Finally, in the afternoon, Pascal has finished her second kite and has managed to get it airborne. This isn't just any normal box kite though. There are two strings leading from the kite, one is used to keep the kite under control and the other is a pullstring. When Pascal yanks down on the pullstring, confetti starts spilling out of the kite! The wind helps in spreading the confetti around, effectively showering the plaza with multicoloured paper. Hopefully the colourful display will help cheer a few people up, especially given the draft from not too long ago and the number of entries she's seen about people going home over the journals.

While the confetti pouring out of the sky looks impressive, it's going to look a lot less interesting when it's piled up on the ground and being blown all over the place. The books and remaining craft supplies she left in the library don't look all that great either. She should probably figure out how she's going to clean everything up. Maybe. At some point. Later... Feel free to run into Pascal at any point during her day, from messing up the library to flying her kites!]

We try not to have explosions happen as a result of a puzzle. Unless they have to.

You've pulled off puzzles where explosions have to happen?! [Talk about intense.] Quick, tell me more!

Well...you see, we were escaping from a big giant robot that was in the middle of destroying Future London, and in order to keep the car going we had to get it through a few really tricky spots.

Oh man... That sounds totally awesome! I never even thought of car puzzles, or doing puzzles while driving a car, or whatever! And having a giant robot in there too makes it even awesomer!

[Good thing she learnt all about cars and how the whole driving thing works not too long ago.]

Doing puzzles while driving a car can be really dangerous if you're the driver and you're not Professor Layton. [So don't try this at home.]

It...wasn't very "awesome" at all. A lot of people could have been hurt.

[Oh... It still sounds awesome. Minus the people getting hurt part.]

You could probably whip up somethin' that's like doing puzzles while driving in the battle dome, only y'know, without the risk of getting smacked around. That'd send your brain into overdrive, and get the adrenaline pumping!

You like thinking about how to make impossible things work, don't you.

But it's not impossible! When you're tappatapping away in the dome you can do all sortsa stuff, even cooking up some car driving, puzzle solving action! You've just gotta know how to program it juuust right so it all comes together.

Thanks, but I think I'll leave the 'programming' to people who really understand that sort of thing. [Usually, machines are coming after them, not helping.]

[Well okay then Luke. But do you know who really understands that sort of thing and is standing right here at right this very moment? Here's a hint, that person now has a cat-like smile on their lips and is leaning forwards.

Spoilers it's Pascal. And she might want to program something in the puzzle/racer genre right now.]

Um...you look like you might want to say something.

[Darn right she does. Pascal lifts one of her hands up into the air and then slaps it down on Luke's shoulder.]

I really understand that sort of thing! Leave all the programming tappatappy plunkapoke stuff to me!

Wha- ow! [Pascal hits unintentionally hard. Or maybe it was intentional.] Careful or I'll end up letting go of your kite!

[Oops. She didn't mean to hurt him! Or endanger the kite... But programming! Puzzles!]

Oh, yeah, I'll be careful! But c'mon, I'm really good at the programming thing. I've made a whooole room where if you step anywhere, you're suddenly psheewed off! It's super bouncy!

A trampoline room? [Awe and uncertainty fight for territory on his face.] What did you need it for?

Yup! Remember back when everything was all wibbly-wobbly upside-downy? Someone completely missed their chance to boing around a little, so I made a little somethin' to help simulate the same sorta thing!

Somebody really wanted all of that to come back?

Yep and double yep! [Well it was Grune, so really it was more Pascal doing her thing and Grune just going with it-] Not all the other wacky stuff that was going on though, just the bouncing around all over the place.

I think I could do without any of the things that happen to us here, except for the ones that give us lots of free food.

You sure about that? You could stuff your face with food and eat and eat and eat! Then the Malnoguys pull another super bouncy experiment so suddenly you're barfin' through the air like a vomit propelled flying machine!

Erm...maybe you should just stick to the kite.

Oh yeah, duh, I'll stick to the kite thing for now! I dunno how I'd even make a vom-machine.

[... Well now she's thinking up a way to make that happen. This idea sounds pretty gross in her mind, but it's always good to have a second opinion.]

On a scale of 'I'm totally fine' to 'Bleeeurgh', how grossed out would you be if you saw anything powered by projectile vomit?

That's awful! And really gross!

[It's turning his stomach just to think about it.]

Please tell me you're not really going to do that.

Yeaaah, yeah, it's pretty nasty huh?

[If it just makes other people sick, maybe she could design a perpetual vomit machine that way!
