[On this particularly blustery day, Pascal is lounging around in the library and making a general mess of the area around her. There are books laid out all over the table she's sat at, some piled up close by on the floor, everywhere. Even then she keeps getting up to find some other book to add to her collection. Most of the books she's reading through follow the theme of today's weather. Be it wind socks, wind surfing, anemometers, windmills, whatever, she's likely found a book on it. There's one particular book the she's so fully engrossed in that she doesn't even notice when a stack of books slips of the table.
Flying a kite sounds like a blast! There are so many different kinds of kites with different designs to them out there. To Pascal it seems like a great way to make the best out of the weather. Now she could just go and look for a kite in the item shop and see what comes up, but where's the fun in that? She's going to make her own. She makes a few trips to the item shop for some craft supplies, bring her haul back to the library so she can start her work (and make even more of a mess than before).]
[With her work soon finished, Pascal can be found testing out her kite in the plaza. She's running around all over the place, waving her arms like a madwoman in an attempt to get her kite to take off.]
C'mon, you can do it! Three, two, one, go go go!! [We have lift off! Pascal's excitement is short lived however as a particularly strong gust of wind sends the kite swerving downwards, causing it to crash into the ground not long after it took off. Wooden canes and construction paper everywhere.] Aw bananas, the wind completely totaled it... Oh well! [That was just a test flight anyway. Time to make another one!]
-
[Finally, in the afternoon, Pascal has finished her second kite and has managed to get it airborne. This isn't just any normal box kite though. There are two strings leading from the kite, one is used to keep the kite under control and the other is a pullstring. When Pascal yanks down on the pullstring, confetti starts spilling out of the kite! The wind helps in spreading the confetti around, effectively showering the plaza with multicoloured paper. Hopefully the colourful display will help cheer a few people up, especially given the draft from not too long ago and the number of entries she's seen about people going home over the journals.
While the confetti pouring out of the sky looks impressive, it's going to look a lot less interesting when it's piled up on the ground and being blown all over the place. The books and remaining craft supplies she left in the library don't look all that great either. She should probably figure out how she's going to clean everything up. Maybe. At some point. Later... Feel free to run into Pascal at any point during her day, from messing up the library to flying her kites!]

[Going home or at least somewhere else where people won't be trying to read in peace would be silly when she has everything she needs in one place!]
no subject
[The shame! The horror! The mess!]
The librarians might have taken them away, by now. Or other visitors, for that matter.
no subject
[So she could make more kites. Not so she could clean everything up.]
no subject
[That's hoping for too much, isn't it.]
no subject
[She might be missing the point, just slightly.]

no subject
[That said, Pascal starts reeling in the kite.]
no subject
[He doesn't see anyone preparing a bonfire with craft supplies nearby, thankfully.]
no subject
So, with the kite reeled in it's time to venture into the library! Now you're generally meant to be quiet in libraries, but, well...]
Oh kite stuff that I left around here somewhere, come out come out wherever you aaare!
no subject
[But when he starts looking around the shelves, he does so with a smile.]
no subject
[Bah. Someone moved her stuff after all. That sucks.]
no subject
If you're lucky, they might have merely put it aside to clear some room for readers. Perhaps someone else in the room knows where?
no subject
[In the noisiest and most disruptive way she can manage.]
Hey guys, anyone see any stuff around here?! There was this really thick paper, wooden cane things, all sorts of cool stuff!
no subject
[He doesn't even bother to tell her to do it more quietly, even if he's looking out for angry readers armed with books.]
no subject
[Or was it even that table? Man these things should be labeled or something.]
Bzzt, false alarm, our table has gotta be somewhere else.
no subject
Well, that's certainly a relief. Not having to track everything down would make our lives much easier.
no subject
I dunno, this is kinda fun! Like a treasure hunt but you know what the treasure is or something. [...] So I was thinkin' the table I was at was way more bookish than this one, probably.
no subject
[Cecil has not yet learned that logic is not welcome here today.]
no subject
Yuh-huh, but I mean like the area was more booky than over here, there were books all over the place. [She says while standing in a library full of books.] C'mon, let's go check out that other table! March!
no subject
[But if she says so.]
Do you remember what subjects could be found on the nearby shelves? Fiction, children's stories...?
no subject
[Hup, two, three, four. She keeps up a literal march to the other table for a couple of steps but soon goes back to walking normally, peering at the bookshelves as they pass by them.]
no subject
[And that's exactly what Cecil now does!
...Except he has no idea what aviation is.]
no subject
It's not long before a book that has nothing to do with kites or aviation ends up catching Pascal's eye. She takes the book from the shelf and starts flipping through it.]
Huh! Didja know the largest bunch of bananas ever had four hundred and seventy three bananas growing from it?
no subject
But my, that is an interesting fact!]
Four hundred and seventy-three? ...Either that bunch was bigger than the average chocobo, or those were tiny bananas.
no subject
[She looks up to ask the question while still flipping through the book in her hand for some other record.]
